Bacon + Chocolate = Heaven. Dont question it, it just is. Seriously. Luca Chocolate has a whole Bacon Box of sweets, which is pure genius! I cant even give the description justice, so I am going to share part of it with you... straight from the listing:
"Chocolate Covered Bacon: 8 pieces of super crispy, super bacony bacon, covered in your choice of milk or dark chocolate and very lightly sprinkled with sea salt
Bacon Caramels: 4 of our signature caramels, topped with a crisp piece of bacon and covered in your choice of milk or dark chocolate and a sprinkle of sea salt
Bourbon and Black Pepper Truffles: 2 dark chocolate truffles, spiked with Woodford Reserve(TM) bourbon and freshly ground black pepper, covered in dark chocolate"
Pure wonderfulness.

Not being a fan of dark chocolate, I love how they offer these in milk chocolate as well!
ReplyDeleteHas anyone ever tried the combo of bacon and white chocolate? I have seen (and tasted) dark and milk... but never white!
ReplyDeleteGreat Post - thanks! I've never actually dipped bacon in white chocolate, though I have had one customer who mentioned that he wanted to try it one day. For anyone interested in trying, just put white chocolate in the special instructions/comments and I'll set you up! -

Definitely going to have to try this...my guy is obsessed with bacon. Might be interesting for him!
ReplyDeletethis sounds so good to me. I vote for milk chocolate
ReplyDeletethe bacon will stay okay to eat all through the mail-like what if it takes more than just a couple days to deliver?
ReplyDeleteThere are plenty of confectionery shops on etsy. If you have any specific questions about shipping, I would suggest checking out the shop's policies or asking them. From my experience, sellers are love to help educate their customers! I, personally, have gotten bacon fudge from an etsy seller (not this particular seller) and it was perfectly fine upon arrival.
