Bio:

I am somewhere in California. I have 2 cats panda and doodles. They like to slide around on the linoleum. I love Bacon! (She is a member to Team Bacon! too! Groovy.) I use to play favorites with colors, I use to hate certain colors. Orange is my fav it stands out to me. it makes me think of my sister and mom how my mom loves red and my sis loves yellow. When i was a kid about 6ish I told them both that red and yellow make orange! When I figured this out, I was so stoked.

How did you find Etsy? How long have you been selling on Etsy?
I found Etsy through Meinoel's myspace page.  Her myspace directed me to her blog. She made so many different things it was like a whirlwind of treasures. There was a link saying simply MY Etsy. I clicked and was hooked and have been sellin on etsy since November of 2005... so almost 5 years.

How would you describe your style? Have any other artists etc influenced your style?
Snarky girls with a ting of anime. The girls I draw and paint either think naughty thoughts or dreamy thoughts. Can you tell i don't know what my style is? I really love Gerome Kamrowski and Hayao Miyazaki.

How long have you been creating?
Craftying and art wise aboot 10 years. I have been drawing off an on since I could hold a crayon and I've never really stopped. Creating is sort of a great escape or time travel into anything you want.

Have you had any mentors, or are you self taught?
I'm self taught, chaos in a jar.

Do you sell more at one time of year than others?
I don't really pay attention to that but their is a rush around the holidays. Then it dies down.

Do you enjoy doing custom pieces? What has been your favorite custom work?
I love custom pieces! So far *knocks on wood* last few sales were customs. My favorite custom... lately I have been doin custom pet aceos. I recently did a cat and a fish and a birdy avatar.

What is one thing about your creative process that you think most people don’t know?
Don't limit yourself, their are tutorials on everything. If I get bored with something I try something
new or something I know that I haven't done in a while. My creative process I have to be in the mood. If I start into something and I'm not feeling it. I will stop and veg out for a bit, I go off and read BBC or hang out in the Etsy etc forum or go for a bike ride.

Do you have a favorite item you have made?
Yes, the first doll I ever made; an alien girl with 3 legs and a have a few paintings in my hallway that I can't part with.

What is the best reaction you have gotten from one of your pieces?
Hmm... that's a tough one. Well, yesterday someone asked me to do her cd art and she said: "Your colours look like what my soul sees every day." I told her that sentence made me cry.
